Video on the Making of Yang Town’s Illustration & Design
November 30th, 2007 by RyanI keep hearing such great feedback on my blog's design which I greatly appreciate.
Many of you ask me how I made the blog and if I designed it myself, so I decided to create this short video showing you exactly how I created Yang Town from a simple sketch as well as a little history on how my blog started.
Feel free to post any comments about the video or questions about the Elance outsourcing process. Enjoy!

Ryan,
To say I’m impressed is to say nothing. You did a lot to make your blog so attractive, mysterious. However, now let me compliment not your blog, but your… voice. It sounds as attractive and mysterious as your site. The rich smooth sound of your voice took me away from the video, just enjoyed the velvety voice itself and the music playing in the background.
Thank you…

Nellioness,
That was one of the most eloquently worded comments I have ever received, so thank you. Mysterious, velvety voice eh….maybe I should do some commercials or something š
Really though, when I did the recording it was like I was on auto pilot and the words were just coming out, so as Stephane says, “don’t thank me, thank existence.”
It’s also great to hear from you since you were a blogger friend since my old site. I’m considering doing some real videos demonstrating different energy techniques such as EFT, TAT, Chakra work etc. so be on the lookout!

Thanks for sharing man! Its really inspiring to see you came up with the idea and executed it fully and now you got one of the most badass blogs out there.
There are subtleties here that I didn’t notice, like we post inside the earth, in the “root chakra”
I love the spooky/mysterious vibe from it, blows my blog out of the water haha

I’m new to bloging as of a week ago, and this was great to see what goes into making something that looks really good. Very inspiring, I really see the shift you’ve made from the ‘Dewuss’ dark style to this new look and energy.

Great work here on the blog – it seems that you have really put a ton of effort into it. Your entire holistic approach is right on target from your delivery in your voice, to the visual appeal of the blog, and to the message in it all. Well done.
